All that you dread about such undertakings: the
management of the build, being at the mercy of
unreliable subcontractors, the mess, the general
hassle and stress, none of this will affect you. We
see it as part of the job to ensure a smooth and
efficient delivery of your greenhouse, on budget, on time, with a
minimum of disruption.
Believe it or not, our customers actually enjoy the building process.
Delivering more than a greenhouse. You should enjoy every part of your Alitex
greenhouse and that includes the building of it. Our representatives are expert
builders, greenhouse makers and gardeners, not commission hungry salesmen.
We will come to you and view your garden, discussing and proposing various
designs and options based upon your wants and needs.
At this stage it’s very much a joint process. If you want a modern look, we can
offer a different colour or increase the width of the glazing bays. We can
suggest the type of plants that would compliment your taste and the
appropriate greenhouse for those plants.
Once you have chosen your greenhouse and decided to place an order with us
you will be assigned your own project manager, your one point of contact.
From foundation to building works to final installation, everything is their
responsibility, it is their job to keep things running smoothly and to keep you
informed and ultimately, happy.
Our service includes design, the contentious issue of planning permission, (we
regularly secure planning for listed sites and conservation areas) then the
complete build (by ourselves or your builders) and everything thereafter
including landscaping. From the small to the rather large, we ensure you
receive exactly what was asked for: a greenhouse that was made for your
specific garden and exceeds your high expectations.
And afterwards? Should any problem arise, act of god, wheelbarrow incident
etc, don’t hesitate to contact us for after sales service. We remain committed
to our customers and greenhouses long after we have made the sale.
To ensure a stress free, perfect build, we can provide the full construction
service:
Planning Permission is usually required and when we apply for it, almost always
granted. A close working relationship with English Heritage has helped tip the
balance in the cases of National Parks, Grade 1 listed gardens and Historic
Houses.
Foundations and all associated building works can be part of the Alitex service.
So rather than complicate areas of responsibility and become a de facto project
manager, (attempting to ensure builders finish on time and without damaging
your garden) simply have one point of contact for the whole process.
Heating; design and installation can be carried out by our specialists, tailored
to your growing needs and taking into account any factors the immediate
environment might present. It’s a delicate job, a few degrees wrong and it’s a
disaster.
Clean and care, this should be an annual event; in Spring or Autumn we
recommend a thorough cleaning of frame, inside and out as well as shades and
benches. For Health and Safety reasons we advise caution and are happy to
come and do it for you.
Garden landscaping can be carried out after the build to give you the garden,
not just the greenhouse, you always wanted. We have close ties with many
experts in this field and will be happy to put forward a shortlist; we are
delighted to project manage all work. Furthermore we do not consider the
project over until you are entirely satisfied with every aspect of it.
